Prime Minister Stephen Harper issued the following statement on the resignation of Inky Mark as Member of Parliament for Dauphin—Swan River—Marquette: “Today, I pay tribute to Inky Mark’s many years of service as the Member of Parliament for Dauphin—Swan River—Marquette. “Since he was first elected in 1997, Inky Mark has been a tireless and popular representative for his constituents. He has also represented them at the local level as a city councillor and as mayor. “I wish Inky and his family the best of luck as he moves on to the next chapter of his political life and thank him for all he has done for his constituents, his caucus and his country.” |
