Central Albertans Have A Say In Shaping Solutions To Alberta's Job Crisis

November 18, 2016

Red Deer, Alberta –
Member of Parliament Blaine Calkins (Red Deer – Lacombe) and Member of Parliament Earl Dreeshen (Red Deer – Mountain View) hosted three roundtable discussions with local stakeholders today to discuss the job crisis in Alberta

“As the jobs crisis in Alberta gets worse, families need the Liberal government to present solutions”, said MP Calkins, “Yet thus far, the Government has failed to put forward a jobs plan. Skilled workers across the province are struggling and it is our responsibility as the federal representatives to ensure that every possible solution is examined in order to get Albertans back to work so they can continue to provide for their families.”

Said MP Dreeshen, “The Conservative Alberta Caucus will be listening to everyday Albertans, employers, small businesses, social assistance organizations, workers and other stakeholders – all of whom are affected by the current jobs crisis and have valuable insight and ideas to share.”

All Albertans are invited to share their views and experiences at www.albertajobstaskforce.ca. Your ideas will help shape real solutions for the future of Alberta.
