MP Earl Dreeshen to Accompany Prime Minister Stephen Harper on a Trade Mission to the United Kingdom

RED DEER – Earl Dreeshen, Member of Parliament for Red Deer will be accompanying Prime Minister Stephen Harper on his upcoming mission to the United Kingdom from September 2-5.

The mission will cover a variety of topics including exploring ways to promote new trade and investment opportunities between Canada and the UK, including through the historic Canada-EU Trade Agreement.

The delegation will also be meeting with a number of key U.K. business leaders to promote Canada as a premier trading partner and a stable and reliable country in which to invest and do business.

“This is a great opportunity to discuss the advantages of the Canada-EU Trade Agreement for both of our countries,” said Dreeshen. “Our countries already have a strong relationship and I look forward to continuing that work in cultivating opportunities for Canadians home and abroad.”
